Good morning and happy Thursday from Jensen beach!
Today marks a momentous accomplishment as a momma of a soon to be 8 month old…
Bryson and I are STILL at the beach!!! He is currently napping!!! In the beach cart!!! I managed to lull him to sleep in said cart with the hopes to extend our time beaching it up today! Funny enough – now I’m anxiously awaiting his wake up so we can keep playing!!!
I have everything set up for us to keep enjoying our relaxing morning by the ocean. Who needs a sound machine when you can sleep to the sound of REAL WAVES crashing in the distance?!?!?!
This is pure bliss!
I hesitated to hop on my phone to even write this 2nd post, but I know the moments to myself on the days Adrian works are hard to come by some days, so I wanted to take advantage.
Speaking of Bryson’s long beach nap… I think I too am ready for a nap! BIG YAWN! I really don’t know anywhere more calming and grounding than the beach…
I can feel myself scrambling on what to do to “pass the time” as Bryson snoozes away when the answer is literally right in front of me!
Pause.
Breathe.
Slow it down.
Soak it up.
Listen.
Breathe.
Inhale.
Exhale.
I’m in no rush.
He’s in no rush.
We have NOWHERE to be but right here.

Crashing waves. Shining sun. Sandy toes. Calming breeze. Happy baby. Proud mommy.
I see the eyes are officially fluttering… he is UP!!!
